My son who was admitted to Northeastern and graduated from Berkeley College of Music in performance was told by his Unqualified Nepotic high school teacher at Burncoat HS that he could not qualify for advanced English. Well BS on that and thanks to the English department head at the time we got him out of the grips of townies. He did great in advanced English and is a writer and composer today.

A friend of mine is an ELL teacher with WPS and if you want to hear about how they put kids in the program based on screeners administered by unqualified people and it's nearly impossible to remove them no matter how average or exceptional their English is, I bet she'd be down to share. Hit me up.
