I agree with everything here. To that end, my wife and I live here, and in Provincetown. In Ptown we hired a town manager about a year ago. It was the way the process should be. Extensive, exhaustive, transparent, inclusive and free of political shenanigans. We ended up with the perfect person for the job, Alex Morse. In his first year he's succeeded by all accounts. He's even succeeding according to Ptown social media standards. And that's incredibly hard to do. Let's hope we can do the same in Worcester. Hiring the right person, no matter how time consuming, will do the city a world of good.
